Amnesia (Capsicum Chinense) is a superhot cross that was created by master grower Rocco Maltesi. It is unknown exactly which peppers made this crossbreed, but one is supposed to be the Skunk Chocolate. The Amnesia peppers ripen from Green to Dark Brown & resemble an elongated bumpy Scorpion type. The flavor is smoky sweet once you get past the heat (which is hard to do)! The Scoville heat level can exceed 1,000,000 SHU. The Amnesia chiles are consistent in size and shape but as with any new cross bred pepper, expect some variation. This Capsicum Chinese chile plant can grow over 4 feet tall and was the largest and farthest reaching pepper (in my garden of 13 types); they tend to have above average production. These are non- isolated, non lab tested seeds.
