Batman BubbleGum Orange BBG7 is quite rare. BubbleGum peppers are all cross breeds - usually between a Scorpion and/or Trinidad and/or Habanero. BubbleGums have a unique feature in that the color sometimes bleeds up through the top of the pepper into the stem, giving it the the Bubblegum name.
These seeds from my garden in Queens, New York are a cross of Bleeding Bubblegum 7 Pot (BBG7) Orange x Batman Pineapple Habanero. The original strain was a small yellow, habanero like pepper.
The flavor profile of very popular with new pepper geeks - it opens with a beautiful fresh citrus scent. Do not leave your utility belt hanging.. you may still need gloves to cut. The Scoville must exceed 1,000,000 SHU as this cross breed is one of the hottest known peppers.
